Water jetter or electric eel

which is more effective against blocked sewers?

A plumbing electric eel (otherwise known as a plumber's snake) is a steel cable with a cutter on the end designed to churn and chew through the blockage of the sewer or stormwater line.

The water jetter, however is more effective in dislodging blockages. It also works just as well 50 metres down the line as it does at the initial entry point.

The electric eel is less effective the further it goes down the line.
